Is your Money Safe

Is my money safe at my credit union? Yes!

With the current media coverage on troubled banks, you may be wondering if your accounts are secure at the credit union. The short answer is, yes!

Not only is our credit union sound and stable, every credit union in Oregon is federally insured by a fund that is backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government. The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) insures accounts to at least $250,000 per account, just as the FDIC does for banks.

The NCUSIF is administered by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government. For more information on federal share insurance, see the NCUA brochure “Your Insured Funds,” available at the following link: http://www.ncua.gov/Publications/brochures/insured_funds/funds.pdf.

We also welcome you to come in or call us if you would like more information on our share insurance coverage.

Effective Immediately

Due to increased financial institution robberies, security measures have been increased. For the member and staff protection, you are required to remove any DARK GLASSES, HATS, OR HOODS when entering the Credit Union to conduct business.

We enforce this policy to help identify who we are working with. Staff does not always recognize members when Hats/Hoods or Dark Glasses conceal your identity.

Failure to comply with this procedure, may result in us denying service to you.

Thank you for your cooperation.
